Mike and I have affectionately nick-named the baby "sea monkey". Feel free to join in the fun. Why on EARTH would we refer to our baby as a ridiculous toy (brine shrimp, really did you know that?) that we all enjoyed as kids? Well, watch this video - sea monkey just seemed to fit.
Our Sea Monkey, I mean .... new addition is due August 4, 2013 and we couldn't be any more excited. Fenway, Bean and Hooper .... well they have mixed emotions about adding a new member to the family. :-) Fenway is currently terrified of any baby item we bring in the house, and Hooper thinks everything belongs to him. Bean .... seems to be clueless anything is going on right now but probably scratches her head wondering why I'm always yelling at her "no" when she jumps on my belly!
As we have news and updates about the baby throughout the next few months, we'll be posting here .... And of course, after the arrival (if I have time!)
Our next appointment is on February 13th, and we are scheduled to have the anatomy scan (and gender reveal!!) on March 7th.

Amazing how quickly our little sea monkey is developing! Well, that's about all I've got for now. I'm glad we can share this journey with you, even if it's through a very impersonal blog. :-)
